About Us

UIC’s Office of High School Development was established to coordinate UIC’s involvement with UIC College Preparatory High School, a campus of the Noble Street Network of Charter Schools that opened in August 2008 in partnership with UIC. The Office also coordinates some UIC-based programs for pre-college students and conducts research and development projects, often in conjunction with UIC’s Learning Sciences Research Institute. The Office resides within the Office of the Vice Provost for Programs and Planning, Office of Academic Affairs.
